What is the Cheshire Book Quiz?
The Cheshire Book Quiz aims to promote reading in secondary schools by creating a competitive platform where pupils read a number of books and participate in a quiz.
The Cheshire Book Quiz takes place annually and is run by secondary school librarians in the North West.
What do I have to do to take part?
- Enter a team of four pupils from year 7 and/or year 8, the entry fee is £15 per team.
- Read the six set books for the quiz.
- Complete six quiz papers from October to May - these will be emailed to you.
- The four teams with the highest total score compete in the final in June.
- The winning team is presented with an engraved cup which they keep for one year.
- All finalists will receive individual book prizes.
